RoadPanel runs in your browser. By default, this package does not include its own analytics, login system, server database, service worker, or custom location storage.
Location searches
When you enter a starting location and target destination, those route details are sent from your browser to Google Maps Platform services to provide place suggestions, calculate directions, find Street View panorama metadata, display the inset map, and display visible Street View images.
API key
If you paste an API key into the test field, the key is used in the current browser page to load Google Maps Platform services. For production,
set the key in config.js, restrict it in Google Cloud Console to approved domains, and limit it to the APIs needed by the app.
No app-side image storage
RoadPanel does not intentionally store Street View images, route images, or panorama images in localStorage, IndexedDB, a service-worker cache, or a custom backend. Normal browser network behavior may still temporarily cache resources according to browser behavior and Google response headers.

Google Maps Platform requests are governed by Google’s applicable terms and privacy practices. Review Google’s documentation and legal pages before publishing this app commercially, including the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
